Albina Vision Trust is committed to fostering a strong and supportive community where residents can thrive. Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC), a trusted nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals, youth and families through education, employment support, and leadership development, will provide resident services and programming at the Paramount Apartments. Got kids in PPS? Households that apply for the N/NE Preference Policy are also eligible for the Portland Public Schools Right to Return policy, which prioritizes enrollment for students with historical ties to the N/NE Portland neighborhood. This initiative allows opportunities for families who have been impacted by displacement and gentrification to return to Albina and the schools where they feel most supported and at-home.
